My name is Anala Mathura and I am a student therapist with a passion for working with families, couples—especially parents—and children aged 10 and up. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta and I am in the process of completing my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

With four years of experience supporting autistic children through my work at the Centre for Autism Services Alberta, I bring a compassionate, strength-based approach to my practice. I have a special interest in supporting children and families adjusting to life in Canada, helping them navigate cultural transitions and family dynamics with understanding and care.

My therapeutic work draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Structural Family Therapy. My approach emphasizes collaboration, emotional connection, and practical strategies for lasting change.
